In past years I have hung our Holiday cards from the garland on our mantel. This year with our Advent boxes calling the garland home, I’ve had to look for another way to display the beautiful wishes from our friends and family!
Step 1
Clean window: wipe down with soap and water, and sand where needed.
I think my camera man had his doubts about where this project was headed
Step 2
Use a strong glue (I like fast drying Gorilla Glue) to secure the mini clothespin holder.
Step 3 & 4
Paint & let dry. Hang up pictures!
My camera man is pleasantly surprised with the end result…
I must say I’m pretty pleased too!

OK, that is absolutely brilliant!!! Looks like you had it custom made. You are amazing.
I love the 3R philosophy, I’ve tried very hard to incorporate that into our Holiday this year. Found lots of little treasures at Goodwill store, with a little paint, a little ribbon Voila! I just love it, in fact I now find buying brand new kind of boring.
Love this! Great site, too!
Thank you ladies! I couldn’t agree more Debbie, I love the challenge in turning treasures! Happy Holidays!
Its beautiful! What an amazing idea…. Its so fun to display cards from loved ones.
First of all, I LOVE the little video intro! When you read a lot of blogs, you tend to forget there are actual PEOPLE writing them! HAHA! I really enjoyed that. Second, that project is SUCH a success! It is GORGEOUS! Congrats on such a lovely item!
Thank you what a wonderful uplifting holiday post! Most of all I loved your video. You are pretty and very personable on camera. I see a Hollywood star in the making:) Lovely way to display your holiday cards.
My goodness, Babs, You made my day! Thank you for stopping by and for you most sweet comment.
Just had to leave another comment. I’ve been looking for a way to display vintage postcards in our newly decorated lake-theme basement. This is it!
How cool, can’t wait to get started. I promise not to take all the credit when I’m overwhelmed with compliments.
