Take to the Table Tuesday: Tricks for Treats

This little trick we like to keep up the sleeve of our cable knit is a perfect fall treat. And by treat we mean, you may be tempted to eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Let’s just say “we have a friend” who may of done this back in the fall of ’09.

Anyway, we’ll start with our trick. You may remember her from before… Betty.

And with her help we make one snappy cookie by rolling the dough into one inch balls.  Bake the cookies until soft and press down flat with a spatula.

But wait. Why stop here when you can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

No. We’re not kidding. We take our sweets very serious. And when it comes to fall entertaining we love having these tricks on hand to treat all of our guests. And they LOVE them!
